43-year-old Joseph Hodgin is dead after being shot to death by police in Allentown.  Investigators say Hodgin robbed the Whitehall Pharmacy Sunday morning, shot an employee there and then led police on a chase into Allentown.  Hodgin then drove his pickup truck into a pair of police cruisers at 19th and Green streets.  Police say that's when Hodgin then pulled a gun and they shot him.  This witness describes what he saw.  "I heard the big hit when they crashed and when I came over here they were pulling the body out.  He didn't look alive," the witness said.  The pharmacy worker remains hospitalized.  One police officer was injured when Hodgin slammed his truck into the officer's cruiser.  The Lehigh County DA's office is investigating.

An Upper Saucon Township man remains behind bars on attempted murder and aggravated assault charges after a Saturday incident.  Investigators say 69-year-old William Roberts shot his 37-year-old nephew, Andrew Roberts, and then hunted the man with a shotgun while driving a golf cart.  Police say William Roberts admitted to shooting his nephew and told them, "I want it documented that I wanted to kill him." Andrew Roberts' mother says her son took in his uncle while William Roberts recovered from health issues and she says she doesn't know what prompted the violence.  William Roberts was denied bail by Judge David Howells, who called him "a grave danger to the victim and community."
