Ed Sheeran had a very good year. Thanks to his hit album “Divide,” and hit song “Shape of You,” Ed has been named “Billboard’s” Top Artist of 2017.
He is now the first British male solo artist to land the title since George Michael received the honor in 1988.
Overall, “Billboard’s” year-end chart is decidedly masculine. In fact, the entire Top Ten is made up of men, with the highest-ranking female being Ariana Grande, who came in 15th.
