Britney Spears is doing her part to help schools in Louisiana. The singer has pledged $1 from each ticket sold to the remaining dates of her Las Vegas residency to help Louisiana schools still recovering from last summer’s flood.
The fundraising efforts are in conjunction with the Louisiana School Boards Association, with the money going to a fund created last year. Funds will be used to help schools and teachers buy instructional materials.
This isn’t the first time Britney has helped raise money for schools affected by the floods. Last year Britney held a Crowdwise contest, with the proceeds going to help the American Red Cross’ disaster relief efforts in the area
