Congratulations to Beverly Detweiler of Nazareth for being B104's Superstar Volunteer for the month of March! Beverly volunteers with the Humble Hearts for Hope Non-Profit Organization which provides support for our deployed military troops and their dependent families in need who currently reside in Northampton, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe & Berks Counties (and beyond!)

Beverly was nominated by her granddaughter Jessica. She says:

"Beverly goes above and beyond to help out. She approaches Veterans in grocery stores and doctor's offices and thanks them for there service. She has never missed a meeting or event sponsored by HHFH. She travels all over to receive donations and to speak on behalf of Humble Hearts. She has over 30 hours of community service a month. It is a volunteer position and she receives no kickbacks or money. HHFH has supported local troops deployed form Northampton, Monroe, Lehigh, Berks Counties from all branches of service. They have also supported many of there family members at home struggling with their day to day lives. And Beverly individually takes the time to package the boxes to send to the soldiers and she also receives requests from them. If HHFH does not have something in stock that they requested, she will go out and get it and use money out of her own pocket to make sure they get what they requested. Overall, she is an awesome volunteer and I think she needs to be nominated because she is a Superstar Volunteer!"

The Humble Hearts for Hope organization is committed to raising strong community awareness for the need to support our deployed military troops and providing support for their families in their times of need.

The organization is currently in need of snacks, Easter Candy / Goodies, Powered Drink Mixes, Hand & Feet Warmers, Blankets & more for Troop Care Packages!

They are in need of business collection sites for donations.
