And that’s a wrap!
After almost three years since the start of The Hunger Games franchise, the final scenes of Mockingjay — Parts 1 and 2 have been completed, and it was definitely an emotional day.
Nina Jacobson, a producer on The Hunger Games films, tweeted out a photo of Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and Woody Harrelson in a sentimental hug after shooting the final scene of the latest installment.

“That’s a wrap. Thank you @SuzanneCollins Thank you @Hibbits Thank you HG Fans,” producer Nina Jacobson wrote. “Other than that, I’m speechless,” she tweeted.
Actor Sam Claflin, who plays Dictrict 5’s Finnick Odair, also tweeted out his gratitude for his role on the series.

Willow Shields and Jena Malone shared photos on Instagram to commemorate the last day.
Willow, who plays Jennifer Lawrence’s little sister Prim, posted a snap of her fellow castmates and herself on the red carpet with the caption,“Such a bittersweet moment… Mockingjay parts 1 & 2 have officially wrapped! This has been such a wonderful journey and I cannot wait till you see the films! What a huge part of my life and I wanna thank all of you beautiful people for supporting our series all the way! Are you excited or are you EXCITED to see Mockingjay?”
Jena, also known as the rebellious Joanna Mason, shared a photo of herself onset.
“Photograph taken on my last day of filming for the entire hunger games series. It was a sad but beautiful feeling. Letting go of a character I love. Knowing I’ll miss this wonderful family I’ve gotten to be a part of. What an incredible journey it’s been. #loveasbigasmountains #johannamason4ever #thebestfamily,” she captioned the photo.
Although their days of The Hunger Games are over, we won’t get to see the cast on the big screen until Mockingjay — Part 1 comes out in November.
