Easter egg hunt gone wrong

An Easter egg hunt turned unsettling in Long Beach, California, on Sunday when a family stumbled upon what appeared to be a human skull and other bones near DeForest Park and the Wetlands. Police were called to the scene just after 5 p.m., along with the LA County Medical Examiner.

Aerial video showed colorful Easter eggs scattered just feet from a partially buried skull. Family members told a local TV station they feared the remains could belong to a small child, and witnesses said the family was visibly shaken. Police say details are limited as the investigation continues.
