“Alabama your hot dog…”
Hot dog fans can be pretty loyal—especially when it comes to that ketchup vs. mustard debate. But now, food bloggers are saying… skip both.
Instead, try an Alabama twist—Alabama white sauce. It’s a tangy, peppery, mayo-based barbecue sauce that started decades ago at Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q in Alabama, and now it’s popping up as a new favorite topping.
It’s got mayo, vinegar, lemon juice, black pepper, even a little horseradish for a kick.
And if you really want to go all in? Load up your dog with bacon bits, onions, maybe some fried green tomatoes or pickles—on a brioche bun.
Basically… your hot dog just went Southern.
