Experts in holiday décor say there is an easier way to hang Christmas tree lights. Hanging lights vertically instead of going around and around is not only easier to do; but, makes for a more beautifully lit tree. Start at the top and bring your light strands up and down the tree with about 4 inches of space between each strand. The lights stay on the outside of the tree using this technique and create a brighter, more festive look. (Today)
