The Golden Globes - oh what a night

At last night's 75th Annual Golden Globes, there was a defiant and political mood in the air with presenters and winners bringing up the Time's Up initiative. Seth Meyers opened the show with digs at Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey.

While being interviewed by E! News, Debra Messing brought up Catt Sadler's claims that she left the network after finding out her male co-host was making twice as much money as her.

“We want equal pay, and I was so shocked to hear that E! doesn’t believe in paying their female co-hosts the same as male co-hosts," Messing told Giuliana Rancic. “I mean, I miss Catt Sadler, and so we stand with her and that’s something that can change tomorrow. We want people to start having the conversations that women are just as valuable as men.”

In the moment that stole the show, Oprah Winfrey gave an impassioned speech about both racial and gender equality. How do you follow that? If you're Natalie Portman, you introduce the Best Director hopefuls by saying "And here are the all-male nominees."
