Jennifer Garner is heading to HBO in a new comedy series, “Camping.” The show is penned by “Girls” creators Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner. Garner will play Kathryn, who’s described as “messy, tough and provocative and really really fun.” Dunham and Konner say Kathryn is “a controlling LA mom who is far less cheerful than her Lululemon's imply.” The creators say, “We love Jennifer’s restraint and comedic timing, and we can’t wait for the warmth and intelligence she’ll bring to our central character.” “Camping” is an eight-episode series based on the British series of the same name. No word on a premiere date yet.
