Taylor Swift made one fan's wedding day even more special by sending along a handwritten note and a bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne.
Edward and Meg McNoble tied the knot Saturday in Long Island and featured two Taylor songs during the festivities, “Welcome to New York” as they entered their reception and “Love Story” for their first dance. What they didn’t know was that Taylor would find another way to be part of their special day.
When the couple arrived to their venue they found the bottle of champagne along with a personalized letter from Taylor. “Rumor has it you might be using my song in your wedding celebration which makes me so happy!” she wrote. “Here’s to this amazing day of your continuing love story. Love, Taylor.”
As for how Taylor knew about their big day, it turns out a groomsman who works at an event planning company heard she was looking for a wedding to crash. Unfortunately she couldn’t make the St. Patty’s Day celebration, with the groom joking, “She would be upset she missed it.”
