Carbon Adventure Race Coming Back for 5th Year Saturday July 28th
This year will mark the fifth annual Carbon Adventure Race, a zany, crazy physically and mentally challenging race focusing on Carbon County. It’s not a “Tough Mudder” or “Spartan” race… but much like the “Amazing Race” this challenging adventure is geared toward getting participants familiar with a new terrain. The race will be hosted at Foothill Farm in Lehighton on July 28, 2018.
The race will begin early with check in is at 8 am and race will begin at 9 am. If teams bring canned good items for CACPAC, they will have an advantage at the start!
Teams of two will run around the farm and they will perform either a mental test or physical activity that they must complete before moving on to their next challenge. Clues and passes will be given to teams once they’ve completed the task/activity in order to move on to the next challenge. The county has more than forty miles of hiking trails with diverse natural communities, hundreds of great businesses that you’ve never encountered and an incredible history that you’re going to explore.
We will be celebrating the finish with an awards ceremony, snacks and beverages!
Registration fees are $50 per team that includes a t-shirt for each two-man team member who registered prior to July 2nd. Winners are awarded with cash prizes! This event is a great team building activity!
