Avengers:Infinity War is the big box office winner

Disney has done it again in the box office with Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War,” which raked in a whopping $250-million this weekend. The studio out did its own “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” which garnered $247.96-million in its opening weekend.

The studio had originally intended to release the movie domestically on May 4th, but bumped the release up to April 27th, which proved to be a good choice. “Deadline” predicts the movie will keep the number one spot all the way up until “Deadpool 2” releases on May 18th.

“A Quiet Place” is still hanging on in the box office at number two, while “I Feel Pretty” sits at number three.
