John Legend takes on Christmas

John Legend just announced his first-ever Christmas album, “A Legendary Christmas,” dropping October 26th.

The album will have Legend covering eight classic holiday tunes, like “Silver Bells,” “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire),” and “Please Come Home For Christmas,” as well as six brand new songs. The record will also will feature guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, who’ll play harmonica on “What Christmas Means to Me,” and Esperanza Spaulding on “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Legend will also hit the road on a holiday tour, which kicks off November 15th in Clearwater, Florida and wraps December 30th in San Diego, California. Tickets go on sale Friday. Check out the first few dates below and click here for the complete schedule.
