Lori Loughlin [[LOCK-lin]] and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are going to fight. According to documents filed in Boston federal court, the couple are pleading “not guilty” on charges of federal fraud and money laundering. They’re also waiving their right to appear in federal court for an arraignment. Loughlin and her husband are accused of paying 500-grand in bribes to get her kids into USC and they face hefty fines and prison time.
Nearly a week ago, Felicity Huffman, 13 other parents and one college coach, agreed to plead guilty to charges including "using bribery and other forms of fraud." Conventional wisdom is that Huffman will see about six months behind bars – while Loughlin faces 40 years.
