Cardi B is setting the record straight.
Shortly after TMZ reported that the "Writing On the Wall" rapper is being sued for allegedly assaulting, striking and spitting on a female security guard in February 2018, Cardi took to social media to respond to another outlet's tweet about the lawsuit.
"Why donโt you guys post the part where the doctor office said that thatโs not what happen ?" the "Press" rapper replied to the tweet. "and if I assaulted why she didnโt press charges ? Why would I put my hands on some1 twice my size by myself while Iโm experiencing sharp pain 4 months pregnant ?"
She added in a since-deleted tweet: "Then she suing me claiming I used racial slurs because people been trying to push that narrative on me for the part 2 years ...mind you this is the girl who suing me ..[Lighter than] me & look Latin American ..Give me a f**kin break !"
A fan then suggested that Cardi should wait to share her defense in court, saying a rant "isn't helping your case," which Cardi agreed, replying, "Itโs not but she claiming that I was saying racial slurs to her because she is African American trying to imply I was being colorist mind you the nurse the staff that separated us said it was not true."
She later shared a screenshot of TMZ's initial article that included Cardi's defense, which she captioned, "I PRAY TO GOD THERES footage of wat happen dat day."
