The Sisterhood of the Traveling Booze is a private Facebook group in southern New Jersey that is providing an essential service right now – bringing each other beer and snacks. Women within the group, which now has more than 3,000 members, share their home addresses and wait to be “gifted” a delivery by the Beer Fairy, which is typically a six-pack and some snacks. The person who’s been “beer’d” is then encouraged to beer it forward to someone else in the group. “It’s been so much fun seeing how excited people get over beer left on their porch,” the group’s founder, Angelia Taylor, told NJ.com. “It makes my heart happy that I can bring joy to someone.”
