Daily Do Good: High School Senior With Down Syndrome Scores Long-Awaited Touchdown

Senior Night at a Texas high school gave one football player the moment he'd been waiting for when his teammates helped him score a touchdown in front of his family and classmates. Mason Wisnoski, a Manvel High School senior who has Down syndrome, took the ball 30 yards into the end zone before the team's game against rival Alvin High School.

The celebration continued after the touchdown, when members of the offensive line lifted Mason onto their shoulders and carried him off the field as the crowd cheered. His parents say the moment was especially meaningful because the coaches, players and school have made their son feel like a true part of the team.

Mason described the experience simply as "awesome" and said he was happy. His family says they're grateful to everyone who helped give him a Senior Night they'll never forget.
