>>Netflix Looking To Launch Cheaper, Ad-Supported Plan In 2023
(Los Gatos, CA) -- Netflix is looking to turn around declining subscription numbers with a cheaper, ad-supported streaming package set to debut next year. The streaming giant said in a letter to shareholders that they will likely launch the plan around "the early part" of 2023. The price has not been revealed, but it is expected to be less than the most popular plan without commercials, which is a little over 15 dollars per month. In its latest earnings report, the company said it lost 970-thousand subscribers in the second quarter. It had originally predicted a loss of about two-million.
