Hershey’s candies are named after the town of Hershey, Pennsylvania and Hershey’s Chocolate World is the main attraction that has been around for 50 years. The latest addition to their lineup is Hershey’s Great Candy Expedition which will be opening on May 19, 2023. It’s a train-themed attraction that includes Hershey’s Chocolate World Train Station, Sweets Expedition C. Platform 73, and the Hersheyland Express.
With the new addition, you can expect to taste factory-fresh Reese’s products and meet the Sweets Co engineer, Fritz of Twizzlers Forest, and Judy of Jolly Rancher Junction. There will also be a “Create Your Own Candy Bar” and the “Hershey Trolley Works” attraction and there’s always Hershey’s Chocolate Tour Ride to enjoy. Hershey’s Chocolate World also serves milkshakes, mac n cheese, and other food items and a large number of souvenirs for purchase. The Great Candy Expedition is just another addition to an already famous chocolate-themed park.
