Wife Wins $1-Million On Lottery Ticket She Got For Valentine's Day

On February 14th, Terry Mudd realized he hadn’t picked up something for his wife for Valentine’s Day, so he made a last-minute stop at the grocery store. He picked up a lottery ticket on his way out and put in an envelope with the note, “Terry + Madonna’s retirement,” referring to a disagreement the couple had earlier about their finances.

The Virginia man had no idea his prediction was so spot-on, but when Madonna scratched the ticket, she realized it was a winner. That Valentine’s gift won the game’s top prize of a million dollars! The couple plans to use their winnings to travel across the country when they retire.
