A hack went viral on Tik Tok last year showing Chipotle lovers how to order a "Philly Cheesesteak." According to KTVU, the hack said to order a steak quesadilla with a side of grilled vegetables, extra cheese and sides of sour cream and vinaigrette.
The video went so viral that Chipotle put out a statement that they would not be letting customers get a side of veggies with their quesadilla even if someone were to request it.
Well I guess the outrage was REAL because Chipotle reversed its statement and will now be allowing customers to order it starting in March.
"We’re amazed by the passion of our fans and their ability to find unique ways to enjoy our hand-crafted quesadillas with Chipotle’s real ingredients," the company said in a new statement. "Due to the preparation time required, quesadillas were designed to be digitally exclusive to best support our team members, avoid overcrowding on our front-line, and ensure guests have a seamless experience. Currently, our quesadilla offering does not include fajita veggies with a protein, however, we are looking forward to adding this combination in the future."
