#MambaForever. A Kobe Bryant fan named Zach Schwartz went viral on Twitter after he shared a touching experience with a local florist in Los Angeles following the tragic death of the Lakers legend on Sunday, January 26.
āBought flowers to bring to staples center. When the florist saw that I wanted purple and yellow she asked, 'for Kobe?' I nodded. When she finished I asked what I owed her. she shook her head, handed me the flowers and said 'itās LA.' I almost cried,ā Schwartz tweeted on Sunday. āLAs love for Kobe is powerful.ā
Schwartz, whose tweet went viral, then told Ryan Seacrest on-air on Monday, January 27, that the moment will forever stick with him.
āAs I tried to hand her my credit card to pay for it, she just said,āNo, itās LA,āā Schwartz reiterated. āā¦ [Kobe] was so special to this city and it just felt so profound,ā he added. āAngelenos looking out for one another.ā
The florist, who goes by @rosiiieey on Twitter, and Schwartz have since reconnected on social media and Schwartz has encouraged his followers to āpls forward the kindness to her.ā
