Huge sales for Taylor's new album

Taylor Swift’s new album “Reputation” had huge sales.

According to Nielsen Music’s initial sales report, Taylor’s new album sold around 700,000 copies in just the first 24 hours, and will likely best the first-week sales of her last record, “1989,” which debuted with 1.29-million units sold.

These numbers would make “Reputation” the fourth million-selling week of Taylor’s career, following “1989,” “Red,” which sold 1.21-million in 2012, and “Speak,” which sold 1.05-mil in 2010. What’s more, it would make “Reputation” the biggest selling album of 2017, besting Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” which has sold 909,000 copies as of November 2nd.
