Katy Perry Visits A Sick Fan At Her House In Australia

After Grace Moores was forced to miss Katy Perry's show in Adelaide, Australia, as per doctor's orders, the pop star decided made it up to the sick fan by showing up to Moores' very own house.

According to Billboard, Katy took some time out of her Aussie trek to visit the young fan, who is currently recovering after doctors removed a 6cm tumor from her brain. Grace's older sister, Tiana, started the online campaign to request Perry's in-person visit and it worked. "My baby sister is meant to attend @katyperry concert in Adelaide this year but was diagnosed with a 6cm Brain tumour and has been battling all year," she wrote in a tweet, which was shared in late July. "Grace has [long] been Katy’s biggest fan since she was 3."

After 22,000 retweets, Perry caught wind of the campaign and surprised Grace at her home in Banksia Park on Tuesday (July 31) before her third and final show at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. "When Katy arrived out the front, Grace was a bit shell-shocked. She was just in awe, the smile on her face was just priceless," her mother, Marie, told The Advertiser. "Katy is the most down-to-earth, genuine person you could meet. She asked about Grace and how she was going with her treatment, and she asked Grace to show her her bedroom and have a look around."

Next up for Perry is shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney as part of the singer's Australian leg of her "WITNESS: The Tour."
