Proceeds Benefit the Education Foundation of the Bucks County Intermediate Unit
June 3, 2019, Doylestown PA: The Education Foundation of the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (Bucks IU) is excited to be holding their 22nd Annual Golf Classic Benefit on Monday July 15, 2019 at The Doylestown Country Club in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Home to a stunning and challenging 18-hole golf course and beautiful clubhouse, offering superb cuisine, this private club will be open to the public this one day just for this special event. All proceeds benefit the Bucks IU Education Foundation; an independent, private, 501(c)3 nonprofit, charitable organization whose objective it is to fund creative and innovative educational opportunities for Bucks County students. To date, the Bucks IU Education Foundation has awarded almost a half million dollars in grants.
Your Golf Classic ticket covers a lovely buffet luncheon followed by a shotgun start of 18 holes of golf. Snacks and beverages are supplied at various intervals along the course. As groups pass the putting green, they can participate in the exciting, and challenging, putting contest – an annual event favorite – with the finals held once everyone has completed their round of golf. A lavish reception then proceeds dinner served in the banquet hall. During dinner service breaks, the awards ceremony and door prizes are presented.
Tickets for the full day of golf, food, drinks, and activities are $200, with $35 tickets available for anyone who may wish to just attend the reception, dinner, and awards ceremony. Corporate and individual sponsorship opportunities are available and range in price from $100 to $2500. Donations to the Education Foundation are always gratefully accepted.
