The 17thannual Schpotyaahr Fescht (Fall Festival) sponsored by Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society will be held on Saturday, September 14th and Sunday, September 15th(rain or shine) 12 noon to 6 p.m. Free. Location: Werleys Corner Hotel, 4585 Werleys Corner Road, New Tripoli.
Theme for the festival is “Why didn’t our ancestors identify their photographs?”. Bring your photos to get help identifying people and look through others displayed to see if you recognize anyone.
Entertainment: Saturday by “Rehrig Brothers” and on Sunday by the “Country Rhythm”. New to the festival this year are 4 Food Trucks. Bake sale, farm animals, children’s crafts are rock painting, pumpkin painting, basket making, face painting, crafters include chair canning, rug hooking, blacksmith, ceramics, corn husk wreaths, antique engine, car & tractor displays, miniature horse and buggy rides (Sunday only), watermelon eating contest, tours of the hotel, visit our store and library, and much more.
