The Lehigh Valley Zoo and Christmas Décor have announced a partnership with the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley (PCFLV) to open Winter Light Spectacular on Monday, December 23 from of 5:30PM to 10:00PM. The Lehigh Valley Zoo and Christmas Décor will donate $2 to the PCFLV for every ticket sold at entrance on the night of the event. For those that purchased tickets in advance or wish to spread extra holiday cheer, there will be donation boxes placed around the zoo to offer additional opportunities to support PCFLV. Guests may also add an additional donation onto any credit or debit transaction. 100% of these additional donations will be given to PCFLV to support their various programs and services.
Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley is a local non-profit dedicated to providing free programs and services to local pediatric cancer children and their families.
These programs and services include various forms of financial assistance (including bill-paying assistance; gift cards for hospital cafeterias, gas, and grocery stores; Adopt-A-Family Holiday assistance; and college scholarships), along with support groups, tickets to local sporting and entertainment events, a weeklong day camp called Camp Smile, a monthly teen program, monthly visits to the infusion center/clinic and to in-patient families, activities for parents, and much more.
