Adele Gives Big Hug To Meryl Streep While Dressed Up Like Her At Vegas Show

Adele's Las Vegas residency show, on November 1st, had the singer celebrating Halloween as she dressed up as Meryl Streep's character, Madeline Ashton, in 1992's Death Becomes Her. Except, it was even more special because Streep was in the audience herself to see it!

Dressed in a silver trench coat dress and her hair styled just like Streep's in the film, Adele made her way down to the audience while singing "When We Were Young," and when she got to Meryl, she curtsied and then went in for a hug, pausing the song to say, "I love you." Streep bowed down to the singer and blew her kisses in return, as one does when you're at an Adele concert — even if you're Meryl Streep.

Adele shared several photos from the night, including a picture of her hugging Meryl who was sitting in the front row.

Streep isn't the only celebrity to enjoy Adele's Las Vegas residency lately. Just a few weeks ago, Celine Dion returned to the same room that she used to perform in to see Adele's show. The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter is finishing up her residency this month, as she has several more shows left at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace before wrapping up on November 23rd.
