Lady Gaga is bringing Mayhem to her fans, and opened up about the new album and more in a new interview with Elle, including her fiancé's role.

Gaga's husband-to-be, Michael Polansky, helped write several songs on Mayhem, as she said to him during the Elle interview, "You helped me loads though," adding, "You helped write like seven songs!"

Polansky also shared a look inside his and Gaga's relationship, sharing of what it's been like to be with someone famous, "accepting that you won’t have the privacy others might have, was the hardest part. But Stephani's comfort with it and patience with me has been amazing. Our relationship is probably a lot like everyone else's. We just have to figure out how to do some of it in public. That makes it even more important for us to have strong friendships and close family relationships. We find normalcy where we can."

Speaking of close family relationships, Gaga added of hosting at their Los Angeles home, "We make pasta together, we roast things. We also really like making simple dishes with Michael's Mom, who lives nearby."

Lady Gaga also opened up about what fans can expect from Mayhem, comparing it to beloved Fame Monster song, "Bad Romance," noting, "As I'm writing, it assembles in my brain, then through the recording it becomes a full piece of color. Every song is a different shade. A lot of the songs on this album have a maroon, brown color to them. 'Bad Romance' was like that - it was reddish."

Mayhem is set to be released on March 7 and is her long-awaited seventh album and first since 2020's Chromatica. According to the new record's pre-order, Mayhem showcases a whopping 15 new songs, including her previously-released single "Disease" and collaboration with Bruno Mars "Die With A Smile."
