Monday night around 9 o'clock Easton police were called to St. Luke's Hospital's Easton campus after two men arrived there with stab wounds. A state of emergency is being declared just across the state line in Phillipsburg, New Jersey due to the formation of sinkholes. Officials said multiple sinkholes opened up at the intersection of Summit Avenue and Lewis Street Monday afternoon, causing a dump truck and another vehicle to fall in. Cheyenne Heasley lives in the neighborhood and says she has no water service right now. "We we were leaving to out again to go to the store and all that because we don't got water, so we're going to get cases of water," Heasley says. The emergency declaration opens up additional resources for the town to get the road fixed as efficiently as possible. However, they'll have to wait until the dump truck is removed to begin repairs.

Today is another Code Orange Air Quality Action Day in Berks, Bucks, Lehigh and Northampton counties. Dauphin County officials are releasing more details about the death of a child who drowned at Hersheypark last summer. Authorities said nine-year-old Sophia Subedi drowned in the wave pool while visiting the park with her friend and their father, who had left to put away their belongings. Subedi's father reportedly told officers that his daughter couldn't swim. Her death was ruled an accident.

The Hershey Company is denying an allegation that they've changed the ingredients for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. The grandson of Reese's founder H.B. Reese claimed in an online post that his family's iconic formula of milk chocolate and peanut butter has been replaced with compound coatings and peanut butter-style crèmes. Hershey responded on Tuesday, stating that peanut butter cups are being made "the same way they've always been." The confectionary giant acknowledged there are "product recipe adjustments" to make new shapes and sizes, but said the essence of Reese's products is still "the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter."

Just as the first checks are going out under New Jersey's new Stay NJ senior property tax relief program, it may be on the chopping block. Governor Mikie Sherrill isn't ruling out shrinking the program, which reduces property taxes for eligible seniors by as much as $6500 a year, as she looks to balance the state budget. The first quarterly checks issued under Stay NJ were mailed just last week. The New Jersey Monitor reports Sherill wants to reduce spending rather than raise revenue in her first budget, which she will present to state lawmakers next month.

Phillies ace pitcher Zach Wheeler continues to work his way back from serious arm surgery last September. Manager Rob Thomson updates Wheeler's progress. "He's doing flat ground. He's incorporating a changeup right now and I think he'll start spinning the ball a little bit pretty quick," Thomson says. The Phillies continue to say Wheeler won't be ready for Opening Day, but will return not to much after that.
