>>Cooling Centers to Open Tuesday Across County, City
(Lancaster, PA) -- County officials say cooling centers will be open for seniors across the area over the next several days. Temperatures are expected to top out at 95 with four of the next few days forecasted to hit 94. The cooling centers will be open until Friday in Lancaster County at: Columbia United Methodist Church, the Elizabethtown Area Senior Center, the Lititz United Methodist Church, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millersville and the Next Gen Senior Center in Quarryville. Lancaster City cooling center locations include the S-A-C-A Senior Center on Pershing Avenue and the Lancaster Rec Senior Center on Fairview Avenue.
