Justin Timberlake is officially an Oscar nominee. J.T., Max Martin and Karl Johan Schuster (Shellback) received a Best Original Song nomination for their “Trolls” tune “Can’t Stop The Feeling.”
“SPEECHLESS. WOWOWOW!!!!!!!,” Justin tweeted, in part, after the nominations were announced. “Thank you SO MUCH @TheAcademy for this nomination.”
Sting also landed a nomination in the same category for his tune “The Empty Chair,” from the documentary “Jim: The James Foley Story,” while Lin–Manuel Miranda is now one step away from an EGOT after receiving a nod for his “Moana” tune, “How Far I’ll Go.”
Also nabbing an Oscar nomination is Pharrell, who is a producer on the movie “Hidden Figures,” which earned a Best Picture nod.
