Neil Patrick Harris, a children's book author

Neil Patrick Harris is adding "children's author" to his resume. The actor is set to debut the first in a series of middle-grade novels, titled "The Magic Misfits," on November 21st. The series focuses on Carter, a young street magician who teams up with his fellow "magic misfits" to protect their town from thieving carnival workers led by B.B. Bosso.  This is NPH's first time penning a children's book.   He previously released a memoir, "Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography."
