Shawn Mendes is a big fan of John Mayer and the two artists finally got to share the stage together in Toronto earlier this week.
John was in the town on his “The Search For Everything” tour and invited Shawn to join him for a collaboration. The pair performed a mashup of Shawn’s hit, “Mercy,” and John’s “In Your Atmosphere.”
“Damn. John Mayer is the best. My job is the best,” Mendes later tweeted. “U guys are the best. What an insane night.” Meanwhile, John also gave Shawn props on Instagram, calling the performance, “over the top good.”
