Abby Lee Miller is going to be twirling right into jail. The "Dance Moms" star has officially been sentenced to a year and a day behind bars after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud and money laundering.
According to prosecutors, Miller tried to cheat her creditors by hiding $775,000 of income while her dance studio, which was featured on the show, filed for bankruptcy. She also allegedly brought in $120,000 worth of Australian currency into the country without reporting it.
Aside from her 366 days in jail, Miller will also have to pay a $40-thousand fine, a $120-thousand judgment, and spend two years on probation after her release.
Miller had previously announced she'd be leaving "Dance Moms" with former “Dancing With the Stars” pro Cheryl Burke taking her spot.
