Tori Spelling and hubby, Dean McDermott, have been fighting an uphill battle with their finances that just took a turn for the worse. After the couple missed a subpoenaed court appearance regarding on ongoing suit filed by City National Bank, they now have to pay off a $220,000 default judgment.
City National Bank is suing them after they allegedly failed to pay off a $400,000 loan from 2010. The couple also owes $259,108.23 for unpaid state taxes from 2014, $37,981.97 for an unpaid American Express balance, and another $87,594.55 to the same company for failure to pay on an American Express platinum card. Plus earlier this year, the couple was hit with a federal tax lien totaling over $707,000. Also, Dean recently avoided jail time over the more than 100k in back child support he owes his ex-wife.
