Kid Rock is running for US Senate. He confirmed on Twitter he is "absolutely" serious about becoming a Senator for Michigan.
Rock first posted a link to his campaign website. He then promised "a major announcement in the near future." At this point, Kid Rock's site only offers merchandise and a way to sign up for email updates.
If he actually is launching a senatorial campaign, he'll be going up against Democrat Debbie Stabenow, who has held the seat since 2000.
