New Study Says 24 Minutes of Music Can Help Ease Anxiety
A new study out of Toronto says you might only need 24 minutes of music a day to noticeably dial down anxiety. Researchers looked at 144 adults dealing with anxiety and taking medication, and they found that once people hit that 24‑minute mark, their anxiety and overall mood improved.
The music was paired with something called auditory beat stimulation—basically sound patterns that help guide your brain into a calmer state. And that 24‑minute window? Researchers are calling it the “sweet spot.”
With millions of people dealing with anxiety, this could be a simple, low‑cost way to feel a little better every day.
