So, you probably know the Roomba, right? The little robot vacuum that just bumps around your house cleaning everything? Well… the guy who helped invent that now has something very different. His new company just unveiled what they’re calling a “companion robot”… basically, an emotional support robot designed to keep you company and help fight loneliness. And honestly? It sounds kind of adorable. It’s shaped like a little four-legged pet, and it can move its head in 23 different ways—so it feels a lot more lifelike. It even has this soft, touch-sensitive “fur” so you can pet it. And instead of sounding like a robot, it makes little purring, animal-like noises. But here’s the wild part—it uses AI to learn you… your personality, your mood… and then it reacts to you like a pet would. So yeah… we officially have robot pets now.
