A Pennsylvania man is going to spend quite a few years in prison for using a banana to rob a bank, among other things.
Peter Harkins of Phoenixville didn't exactly have a gun while committing his crimes but instead held-up a bank and two fast-food restaurants, using either a ratchet handle or a banana covered to look like actual weapons.
He has just recently been sentenced to serve five-to-12 years in state prison for three robberies he committed last year. Harkins favorite place to rob looks to be a pizza shops. He hit a Pizza Hut and a Dominos, where he got loot by using that banana,Source: Bucks County Patch
